Personal Retreat Stay in Southwest Colorado!
For the first time, I am opening my private residence for those who wish to have a self-guided Personal Retreat Stay. Enjoy my ranch, horses, beautiful land, and views while exploring the stunningly beautiful and fascinating surrounding areas. You are welcome to walk the pastures with my herd, meditate with them, or journal and draw in their presence. We will communicate when the herd is available and safety items.

What else is in the area that I can enjoy during my Personal Retreat Stay?
Southwest Colorado is near many sightseeing marvels, including Mesa Verde National Park, offering the most concentrated area for ruins worldwide. Durango offers a charming downtown and a train into the mountains. You may also wish to explore Silverton, Canyon of the Ancients, Telluride, hike in the wilderness, and bike many trails in National Forest or at Phil’s World. There is a herd of wild horses in Disappointment Valley. Cortez area boosts bird watching. The red rock Mc Ellemo Canyon offers a lovely vineyard with wine tasting. If you enjoy art, there are often one-day classes through different organizations and individual teachers in Mancos and Cortez. Within 1-2 hours, you can visit Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, or the Four Corners region. Additionally, just one mile up the road from my ranch are lovely trails in the ponderosa pines for hiking and biking.
How do I get to the ranch?
Clients fly into Durango, Colorado – 30 minutes from the ranch; Albuquerque, New Mexico – four hours from the ranch; or Salt Lake City, Utah – six hours from the ranch. Some fly to Denver and drive seven hours over many beautiful mountain passes to reach Mancos.

Hi Kathy, while I rarely get the opportunity to be around horses, the times that I have have been amazing and I just love those beings. I want to share a link with you that I came across a couple of years ago as this is an amazing story, and brought me to tears. https://www.horsetalk.co.nz/2018/07/04/wild-horses-death-grief-insight/. I think you will appreciate this story.
