Moon Shadow Ranch is located in the country just west of Durango, Colorado. The ranch is set off from the main road and surrounded by many mature ponderosa pines and green pastures. Hawks, eagles, owls, bluebirds, and magpies offer their song and presence, along with deer, fox, and coyote. To the southwest is Mesa Verde National Park, and to the view of Ute Mountain and spectacular sunsets to the west.
Moon Shadow Ranch is close to the national forest and surrounded by large pasture fields and open space. The ranch is on the edge of the mountains and country land, only seven minutes from the quaint town of Mancos, Colorado. Here you will experience the heart and presence of Kathy’s kind and patient herd. The roots of the trees, the song of birds, the wind flowing through the 
pine trees, and the weather elements support you in deepening your roots with Mother Earth.
