This spring during the Level Five EFLC program we explored several layers and realms of consciousness through interacting with Horse. During one experience we set a container for horses to work with the clients at liberty and to come and go as they wished. The intent for the session was to open the chakra channels and begin a process of balancing through the active engagement of tuning. In some Tantric teachings, each chakra has a specific vibration or primordial sound that when repeated can release energy that may be congesting that energy center.
We can open up blocked energy by focusing our attention and intention on the location of a chakra, and repeating its associated sound or mantra aloud. This practice of tuning creates an activation and possible resonance through the vibration that ignites the energy of each chakra. Tuning with horses is a perfect match for healing or to create expansive space with horses, as they are acoustical beings in their nature. Their acoustical understanding and way of experiencing the world are focused on sound vibration and the vibration quality of energy and emotion.
As I suspected Moon was very much in alignment with this exercise. We had two massage tables and four clients. One client lay on the massage table and the other would stand next to them and begin to hold space and using their hands to feel the energy of the client at about an 18” distance. The horses were invited to explore and offer what they wished to the clients. I held space and kept an eye on the horses as my guest teacher began leading the whole group through the tuning process.
Everyone had their own unique experience as they welcomed the energy of tuning to ignite their chakras and the power of the horse to support them. Moon would walk to each table and stand with the client, often touching a part of their body with his nose or simply hovering over the table with his head and neck. Occasionally he would move away from us and go to the open space area in the arena. There he would gently drop to his knees and roll, lick and chew, and release and integrate his experience.
One client has a particularly powerful experience as Moon stood with his head and neck over her throat and heart space for an extended length of time. When she shifted her tuning quality he bumped his leg to the table telling her to return to what she was doing. I watched him as his breath began to deepen and his eyes began to have a non-directive steady stare. A state of being that indicates he is in another zone in which great healing can transpire for the client. I watched as the client began to gracefully cry. Gentle streams of tears rolled over her cheeks and down to the table.
The client reported that the pain in her heart that manifested as a clenching pressure in her upper left chest area diminished and faded during the session. She reported feeling more relaxed and comfortable in her own skin and safe enough to move and speak with more ease.
At the very beginning of the week, we had taken aura photography images to show what energy each client was carrying in the auric field at the start of the week.
After the chakra tuning session with Moon, we took more aura photography images to see what might have shifted. We were not surprised but very pleased with what the images revealed.
As seen here you will notice the shift of color from the left (before) image to the right (after the session) image. Notice the increase of green energy coming into the left side of the client’s body/being located over her throat and heart chakra area. This is the exact area that Moon stood for several moments.
The fourth chakra’s color is emerald green. This center bridges the lower chakras of our physical existence to the upper chakras that rise up into the spiritual realms. In the fourth chakra, we find our balance between the two worlds and learn how to breathe and live with ease, unconditionally with ourselves and others.
I have known for years that one of Moon’s gifts to humans is his ability to help them open their heart space and that he brings a tremendous amount of heart energy into his sessions. I have not needed proof through aura photography to believe this. However, to see it in color is very exciting. So much of what we do and experience with horses in these body/energetic-centered processes are “invisible” and experienced through the felt senses, to see an image that displays what was experienced was very powerful and brings a great desire for more experience of this nature.
This exercise is an advanced activity. It was experienced by individuals who have been on a path of using tools for body-centered awareness. They have achieved higher levels of working with arousal states in their bodies without dissociation or becoming triggered energetically. To keep you and your clients safe I do not recommend experimenting with a session of this nature without professional training in the area of EFL backed by years of experience and properly preparing your horses.

I have been reading everything I could to understand what I have seen with a group of horses. Until now I had not found anything. Two years ago I was visiting friends on their ranch they have many beautiful horses but one white winter day looking through binoculars they allowed me to see a flourecent beautiful glowing green color outlining each of them. No one else could see what I was seeing. I’m certain without a dout I was seeing their auro. Why what were they saying to me? To this day I can close my eyes and see what I was seeing then. Please help me understand this beautiful blessing. What was I seeing? What were they saying to me? I know it was something meat for me. I would be so grateful for any response.
