As some of you may have heard, I have recently been selected to speak at a TedX Talk later this summer. My topic for the talk is Wild and Free, and in it I will be sharing Corazon’s story from being a wild Pryor Mountain Mustang, to the bleak and disturbing potential future I was able to rescue him from, and our very first days together to where we are now on our journey.
It has been a very cathartic experience for me to write about Corazon’s path and I’m so excited to be sharing his inspirational journey with the world. I want to share with all of you my application video. I am so proud of Corazon. His sweet demeanor with me in this video really illustrates better than any words just how special these majestic animals are.
Click below to watch the video and please do share your thoughts in the comments. I would really like to hear them. Of course I will follow up with additional posts as the talk nears.
Great video, Kathy. I can’t wait to hear your talk. I hope you are able to enlighten more humans to the plight of the wild horses and how they can help.
Bravo Kathy!!!!
Look forward to your TED talk.
This is a moving introduction to the story you and Corazon have to tell the Ted Talk audience, What a creative way to jump on board the current media with this story of you both and, also, show this example of the many stories of other Pryor horses that people need to know about and support when BLM comes for them. What a great example of what love and commitment can do. Congratulations, Kathy!
Congratulations Kathy!
So VERY, very fabulous Kathy!! A freeing story of two beautiful and wild hearts, and your journey together. So looking forward to hearing it in TedX version!! Love you, love Corazon! :> :>
I am so very happy for you as you choose to position yourself to speak a TED talk. So many folks whether horse people or not will learn from your experience. You with your calm equine partner have already “stepped up” as you are both standing on block of wood. His response to you as you spoke revealed your impact on his life, and his life on yours! I applaud you. Diane Wenger
Kathy I am deeply impressed and touched by what you shared of your relationship with Corazon. I am happy for you.
And a heartfelt congratulations as well! Yay, Ted Talk!
Congratulations Kathy!! Thank you for the work you do!
Really looking forward to hearing your words Kathy, we really hope that you will come and share your teachings with us her at Cortijo El Indiviso in Spain.
I look forward to hearing the TED talk.
Hi Kathy. I look forward to hearing/watching the TedX Talk with the wonderful horse!
I had one thought to put out there: To say something abt how and what we will learn from Corazon’s story so that we can live more freely in our lives. You’ve done so much effective work on this subject.
I meant to say “that” wonderful horse.
Thank you for your kind comment Barbara!
I’m deeply impressed by your work Kathy. And giving a TED talk is a wonderful way of reaching an even bigger audience for you and Corazon. If more people understand how incredibly much we humans can learn from horses, the world will become a better place. Thanks for doing this!
Good morning Kathy,
I share both your enthusiasm and frustration. Our teachers on four legs are the best there is. In today’s coaching boom, where everyone preaches about passive income and “do your coaching online”, I cannot resolve myself to promote the options I could design to do so. The immense impact our horses have on those people who need it so much to become the leader they wanted to have, be it in their lives or career is not anything that can be conveyed digitally. However, giving a Ted Talk might inspire a wider audience. Some have attempted it already. Not many.
Please, keep us posted and I wish you all the best of success. For us, coaches, facilitators of the horse teachings. But mainly for those who don’t know, how much horses can save them instead of us, saving them.
Thank you for your work!
