The Ranch has been named!
A name has finally bubbled up for the ranch that feels perfect to me: Moon Shadow Ranch. The name embraces the light, the dark, and those moments of true presence when we become one with all. It is inspired by Flashy Doc Warrior, my first horse, who was nicknamed Moon after the creamy-colored moon that rises in New Mexico. See our ranch photos here.
Wild Women Retreat is coming UP!
The heat of the summer has gotten to me. I have been day dreaming about the fall programs and the Tucson desert! The Wild Women Retreat is one of my very favorite programs. We go deep and also enjoy a lot of laughter and expansion. This program includes riding – both in the desert and in the arena – with an emphasis on the integrated seat.
A full week of learning and riding horses, fun and community, with meals, lodging, massage and airport transportation, tax and gratuity all included only $2075 for a single room—and only $1875 for a double. When you register, your spot will be reserved for this program and your $500 deposit will be charged on September 15, 2011. The remaining portion of your tuition will automatically be charged 30 days after the deposit with your discount reflected at that time.

Flying on the Wings of Horses – A Shamanic Journey With Horses

Horses carry humans in the physical world. They can also carry us into the creative spiritual realms. Their ancient wisdom and powerful presence helps us pierce the veil between our mundane physical existence and non-ordinary reality, where spirit allies and animal totems reside. During this program you will experience several dimensions of your consciousness and access deeper levels of self.
Each day includes equine-based learning sessions, shamanic rituals and meditation.. Through the course of the program the horses help you peel off the layers of your persona to allow your most authentic, courageous, and creative expression to come through. This year’s apprenticeship group will be offering their programs as part of their final week in the program. The workshops are moderately prices and include lunch. They are a perfect way to experience the work. Programs are:
