Coaching With Horses Has a New Home
Posted by: | Comments… Longmont, Colorado!
I have some very big news to share with you. This past week has opened a door to an amazing opportunity, and I have found a farm in Longmont, Colorado that I believe will be a perfect setting for the EFLC work and the Coaching With Horses herd. I am so excited I can barely stand it! The horses have arrived as well, and came in nicely. My soul is sad to leave the Carbondale area and all of the people and horses that I have grown to love there. I had not anticipated leaving my community, however I have dropped right into another community where I have many friends. Two of my co-facilitators live very close by.

Woody Speaks About Spirit and Power

It was the sixth and last day of the Level Two Apprenticeship week. During the previous five days I had watched as each woman unraveled conclusions and preconceived notions of power so that she could step into a heart-based leadership that felt authentic and real. I repeatedly found myself saying to each apprentice, “You know. What is your truth?” Throughout the week the concept of “I know” flowed through the sessions and conversations. Sharon, my co-facilitator, and I coached each apprentice to trust their intuition, inner knowing and to follow their gut and guidance as they practiced coaching active round pen sessions. The last day, each session with horse and human flowed with ease and harmony. Each apprentice had gained greater clarity, congruence and inner strength.
We had started the closing ceremony at the last hour of the week. The ritual invites the spirit of horse to interact with each Read More→

We humans routinely step out of the present moment and skip to the past or future with our thinking, thoughts and agendas. We routinely form opinions, points of view, judge others as right or wrong, decide what is best for others, and think we have the answers. The flow of possibility stops when we define events or categorize people, places and things. Pure consciousness does not participate in the above behaviors.
A wonderful practice to increase consciousness is living in the question (verses the answer). What does this mean? Read More→
Are You Following Your Passion?

Last month I facilitated the first Passion, Purpose and Your Path with Horses program. Over the course of four days, each participant gained insights about her path with horses. One woman decided that creating a center to explore the connection between horse and human is her purpose, another feels passionate about helping riders with fear, and one is drawn to the Apprenticeship program. One woman who has struggled with cancer almost all of her life decided, after experiencing the round pen sessions with horses, that for the first time in her life she felt she truly wanted to live.
