Regina Hausler

Regina Hausler Ph.D., AAI, is a licensed psychologist with over 35 years of experience in helping people develop their potential. Her passion and life’s work is to promote transformation and personal growth. As a certified integral psychotherapist she learned to integrate eastern philosophy with western psychology and has seen the power of experiential work and mind body connection. Regina has 25 years of experience in leading groups and studying group behavior. In her experience relationship is the cornerstone to understanding one’s self and others. She has been fascinated with and engaged in the area of communication (the way in which human beings communicate or don’t).

After forty years of loving and being with horses she discovered equine facilitated psychotherapy and went to Arizona to study with Linda Kohanov, author and founder of Epona. When she completed her apprenticeship she went back for further training and experience and became an advanced approved instructor. Her interaction with the horses and time spent at Epona was so powerful that she began the process of transforming her own life. She moved from New York City to Texas and with her horse Dakota started an equine facilitated psychotherapy practice.

Regina says, ”Working with horses requires a willingness to go outside your safety zone. This is the essence of change. The process involves letting go of what you know and allowing new pathways to emerge.” Her commitment is to giving people the opportunity to fulfill their dreams.
